This book provides a concise English-language introduction to criminal law in Austria. It outlines the key concepts, sources, and subjects of the Austrian Criminal Code and explains its general principles, selected offences, and defences. Where relevant, the book compares Austrian criminal law with principles and provisions of English-speaking legal systems. Key statutory provisions and legal terms are presented in both English and German.
